The ARA is an association of rheumatologists and allied health professionals in Australia. The ARA is a specialty society of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP).

Arthritis Australia is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation and the peak arthritis consumer body in Australia. We work in collaboration with arthritis organisations in ACT, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia.

Arthritis Australia:

• provides support and information to people with arthritis as well as their families and friends
• promotes awareness of the challenges facing people with arthritis across the community, and to leaders in business, industry, and government
• funds research into potential causes and possible cures as well as better ways to live with arthritis, and
• aims to keep health professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and community nurses informed.

Arthritis NSW (ANSW) is a member-based health charity founded in 1967 to help improve the lives of people suffering from arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions.

As a peak body for arthritis support in NSW, the organisation works to empower the individual to manage their own condition and health towards achieving their personal meaning of ANSW’s vision Freedom from Arthritis.

The organisation is a trusted source of evidence-based and up-to-date information on arthritis and its treatment, with education programs delivered across a number of platforms, including webinars, workshops and community awareness sessions.
