Positive Choices – Drug and Alcohol Information
Positive Choices is an online portal to help Australian schools and communities access accurate, up-to-date evidence-based alcohol and other drug education resources.
Positive Choices was informed by input from teachers, parents, and students across Australia, and was developed in collaboration by researchers from:
- The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, at the University of Sydney (formerly known as the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Mental Health and Substance Use, at the University of New South Wales)
- The National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), University of New South Wales
- The National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University.

ThinkUKnow
ThinkUKnow Australia is an evidence-based education program led by the Australian Federal Police (AFP), delivered nationally in partnership with police and industry partners to prevent online child sexual exploitation.
We incorporate up-to-date research, real case studies and examples from reports made to the AFP-led Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation.
The program is pro-technology and addresses topics including self-generated child abuse material, online grooming, sexual extortion, and importantly encourages help seeking behaviour.
Triple Zero Kids’ Challenge
The Triple Zero Kids’ Challenge provides children with knowledge and skills, through game play and mystery challenges. They’ll learn about safety messages and hear what happens when you call Triple Zero.
The game consists of several quests that address a range of emergency situations, including medical emergencies, major accidents, house fires, bushfires, serious crimes and suspicious behaviours.
Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW
We are a Sydney based service working across New South Wales, providing a broad range of specialised services for young people 12-25 including housing, mental health, counselling and social support. For adults we provide social support and for people of all ages we offer telephone support and webchat as the NSW provider for the national QLife project. We also offer inclusivity training and consulting for organisations and service providers across most sectors.
We work with people across Sydney and New South Wales who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and gender diverse, non-binary, intersex, questioning, queer, asexual and more (LGBTIQA+) people and others of diverse genders and sexualities, their families and communities.
